We work really hard to make our brewery and bar as green as possible. It’s really hard to find time to boast about all we do, but we should have more content and inspiration here soon.
Briefly, we do all we can to limit waste in general, re-use where we can and recycle wherever possible. We’re doing OK, but have a way to go especially with grain bags, label backings, a reliance on LPG for heating cleaning chemicals and hot water losses.
Some recent wins include, Utilising Ballarat’s soft plastic recycling programme and switching to direct to can label printing (huge).
