The team at Cubby Haus are taking a little break these school holidays. We’ll be open the first and middle Friday and Saturday from 3pm. Closed all Easter, reopening on Wednesday 23 April.

Our Oatmeal Stout has been on tap at The Springs Hotel in Waubra for a few months now. It is so popular Craig has given us a second tap for our South Pacific Ale. Their fridge is also stocked with a great selection of Cubby Haus Beer.

We’ve setup a telly in the corner so you can watch the footy while kicking back with your mates and some beers. We will also be screening the Paris Olympics commencing Friday 26 July.

Introducing our slow cooked Buffalo Pork Ribs, made fresh at the brewery. Enjoy succulent ribs with a generous side of coleslaw and pickles. Try them with an American Brown Ale to complete this mouth watering meal.
We are delighted to now be stocked at Sip Champagne Bar in Sturt street. Pop in for a flight of sparkling or choose from their extensive wine list. Snack on some French inspired food and of course, grab a Cubby Haus beer.
Our Cherry Berliner Weisse has arrived in time for Oktoberfest. This German style wheat ale is fruity and pleasantly sour. Available in can and on tap only at the Cubby Haus Bar.
| The term 60 shilling came about as each barrel was charged excise based upon alcohol content. This style being a light beer was charged the least at 60/-. Scottish ales were traditionally made using “last seasons” English hops as they were cheaper. This lead to a malt forward style with caramel notes and never smokey. Before hops, local herbs such as heather, meadowsweeet and other wildflowers were used for flavouring. Our version also uses noble English hops with a late addition of local chinook for a touch of grapefruit and spice. Drop in and try our 3.0% light ale, a Bronze Medal winner at this year’s Indies. |
